It isn’t quite midnight, infact it’s earlier than that. Our local movie theatre showed Smile at ten PM EST, but had no problem charging full evening weekend matinee price. But, I had some spare cash set aside for Dana and I to go see Smile, the third and final part of the Cornetto Trilogy. But, was it worth it?

Grabbers
It’s pretty rare that Horror films from Ireland make their way across the pond to the United States, but when they do it’s typically a good experience. In an era where reboots and unnecessary sequels are king in Hollywood, it’s always a nice change of pace to experience anything from outside the country. This is where Grabbers comes in, which will more than likely please audiences of both walks of life. No this isn’t a reboot, sequel, or even a prequel, but it is rather familiar territory with a comedic twist for good measure. But, does it make this film noteworthy, or will you be craving the abridged version instead?
The Croods

DreamWorks Animation have put out some truly memorable films over the years, many of which visual feasts in theatres, as well as on the small screens around the world. Anyone who has seen any of the Shrek, Madagascar, even Kung-Fu Panda films will immediately recognize the skilled staff this production company has, though they probably were out to lunch when it came to 2007’s Bee Movie. One of their latest productions, The Croods, was a film that looked like it wanted to have the same impact as some of their more well known projects, but the trailers simply didn’t cut it. But, the more people went to see it, the more it surprised audiences and critics alike. Now that it’s on DVD, do The Croods really stand as an A+ DreamWorks film well worth the cautious wait, or is it really another rare flop?
Review - Do Not Disturb (2013)
Do Not Disturb was a film I actually rented by mistake. Instead of taking it back for the right film, I hopped on-line to see the general premise of the film. Simply put, it’s the tale of a man who’s fiancee was murdered, out seeking revenge. It seemed innocent enough, but my interest quickly waned with Halloween approaching. Now that it’s passed and my debt to Redbox for this film breaks the double digits, I decided to finally give it a play. Sadly, Ruthless Pictures’ offering is far from even remotely promising.
Haunter (2013)
Haunter is the end result from Copperheart Entertainment and Wild Bunch Productions. Penned by Brian King and directed by Vincenzo Natali, the film is now available in select theaters, as well as video on demand. With the focus on spirits haunting a house, but in a reverse manner, this offering is set-up to leave you guessing every step of the way. With a promising cast and crew hard at work to bring this story to life, does Haunter have what it takes to leave a lasting memory, or is this glimpse into the spirit world one that you’ll immediately regret? Consider yourself warned, this review may contain information you might consider a spoiler that others won’t…
