Early 2012 saw the release of a new Horror/Thriller movie from Raincreek Productions and Sunset Pictures called Beneath the Darkness. It was originally released in Kuwait, even though it was shot in Bastrop, Texas, and also went under the name Além da Escuridão. Eventually the film found its way back overseas, and was issued through a newer distribution company called Image Entertainment, though it seems to be a direct-to-video release here in North America. Either way, the movie was met with dismal scores despite having the legendary Dennis Quaid, and the seasoned Timothy Fall attached to the feature. Is this production really that big a disaster, or is it actually a far better experience than some are letting on?
