Today the third song from GENERATION DOOM “In Cold Blood” is being exclusively premiered via AfterEllen.com. Founded in April 2002, AfterEllen.com is a website that focuses on the portrayal of lesbian and bisexual women in the media. Listen to “In Cold Blood” HERE:
OTEP had the following to say to AfterEllen.com about the song:
“There are nights I think of you. Suffering in the sweet amnesia of nostalgia. Then I remember the cold loneliness of being by your side & I hear my own voice whispering in the night, “There’s something wrong with me for thinking something’s right with you. In cold blood. In cold blood”
This bit of writing created the song “IN COLD BLOOD”. It was really hard to share something so private and personal but I’m glad I did.”
OTEP’s seventh studio album and Napalm Records debut: GENERATION DOOM produced by Howard Benson will be released April 15th. LIMITED EDITION Pre-orders for GENERATION DOOM are available NOW in exclusive bundle packages from the Webstore.
In support of the new album, OTEP has announced The “GENERATION DOOM” Tour. The tour features support from Lacey Sturm (Ex-Flyleaf), September Mourning, Through Fire and Doll Skin. The tour kicks off April in 8th in Las Vegas, NV and runs through May 28th in Los Angeles, CA. A complete list of dates can be found below.
The first audio offering from GENERATION DOOM, entitled “Lords of War”, can be streamed at THIS LOCATION.
